I'm so excited

I got my new camera today. I haven't been this excited since Jaws was a minnow. I knew I was in trouble when the camera came with 2 DVD's to teach you how to use it. I just took it to my moms with me today and played with the easier to use point and shoot functions. The rest will have to wait until I have more time. This weekend being memorial day and me living in the town in the US with the longest running Memorial day parade I will probably have lots of chances to play with it this weekend. My daughter took this one and I think it turned out great. Most of the pictures I took were of family members or neighbors houses I probably shouldn't post on the internet.
In case I don't get a chance to get back on here (like that's going to happen) everyone have a great Memorial day and remember those who made it possible.

It looks like DD already has a good eye for the good pic! I'm thinking we probably won't hear anything from you for a while, as you will be off: 1) first, admiring the new camera, then 2) learning and reading about the new camera and, finally 3) saying "instructions be damned!" and just going out and photographing everything you see! Can't wait to see!

Congratulations! Is it a Nikon? It came with DVDs? I got a Nikon for Christmas but no DVD's and I really don't know how to use it.

Help me!

Can I come and float around in your pool? I feel like I need SOMETHING, I just don't know what. However, a good place to start might be with antibiotics. HA! Tell DD I'm seriously starting to feel her pain, and I hope the doctor will FINALLY listen. Keep buggin' them until they do!

The really, really sad thing is this. If I AM floating in your pool, there will be no room for DD in her cutesie little bathing suit! HAHAHA! Can you say beached whale? But, if your most wonderful Superhubby were to bring me something with an umbrella in it, I could be convinced to get ouf of the pool and let DD have a chance! Man, Katy, it's still tempting! Sniff, sneeze, sniff, sniff (she honks very red nose into a Puffs).
