It's Tuesday
I weighed in this morning and I am down 1 and 1/2 pounds. Not much but for how bad I am bumbling this healthy thing its pretty good. I have been letting the puppies out one at a time and chasing them around to make myself exercise a little more;-) I hope everyone else is doing great!
I recall reading (in one of those dumb women's magazines, no doubt!) that the average weight loss for a week is 2 lbs. so it seems to me that 1 1/2 is pretty damn good. When you drop too much, too quickly, you don't keep it off.
In another life I used to work for a diet doctor. Really.
Good job, Katy! Every ounce you lose counts! And how on earth did you acquire another teen? Soon, Katy, you'll be losing weight ass over teakettle because you'll have so many adopted teens you won't get anything to eat! HAHAHA! Come one, come all--Oklahoma, Kentucky, Nebraska, Minnesota! Actually, the more the merrier...that way you might not even notice when Frank, Nancy and I take up residence at your house! HA!
You're making great progress. I agree with monkling. Too much at one time usually isn't permanent weight loss. Slow and steady - make the lifestyle changes and it's so much healthier!
