Now where did I put that %&*# Ark?

All summer I complaineddiscussed the extreme dry spell we were going through. By the end of September we were about 10 inches behind in rainfall for the year. Not anymore. It has rained....and rained.....and rained for days. Today it started raining before daylight and by 7:30 A.M. we had already had over an inch of rain. Then it rained some more. Schools in the area were scrambling to get kids home while the roads were above water. Some people were using it as an excuse leaving work early to make sure they were able to get home without traveling through the mess. I don't personally know anybody who would do that, I'm just saying it may have happened(-;
I drove the long way home from work today to make sure I didn't run into any water and the whole way home guess what...it rained. I thought about starting to gather two of every animal together, just in case, but I am not going to clean up elephant poop if he must go on my boat, so I am just going to have to hope it eventually dries up. I don't think I could allow any snakes on my boat and I'm pretty sure the original rules specify two of everything. There are a few animals (like the snake) that I have no idea how to tell a male from a female and I think the whole thing would be pointless if I ended up with 2 of the same sex.
As of now it has quit raining. I can still hear water running down the hills everywhere which means the bigger creeks will still come up and driving around will get annoying. The good news is the news says a clear day tomorrow and then Saturday night and Sunday a mixture of rain, ice and snow. Is it spring yet?

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog! I love your Christmas village...that is something that I've always wanted to collect. It is snowing again here in Maine. It snowed Monday too and it is supposed to snow again on Sunday. Another big Nor'Easter as they say here in New England!

Anyway, I can remember trying to pee in private too. That was almost impossible. If the kids weren't trying to pick the lock they were sliding notes for me under the door!

I'll be back!

Because I know you have probably been worrying all afternoon and evening, finally got the computer issues resolved...YAY! I was so scared; my computer is my life. Pathetic but true :). How was dinner? Good thing you guys don't get landslides...and I think I heard somewhere the original rules were amended to exclude snakes :).

Instead of rain, we're getting sleet & snow. Today everything from yesterday melted but tomorrow into Sunday we're supposed to be whacked with a snowstorm.

Because I know that now you've been worrying about this, I just thought I'd let you know my blogging break is over.

Have you ever known a bigger geek who doesn't know what the hell she wants? I have let go of this thing where I think I should grow up and be mature...I have completely let it go, and I WILL do the things I WANT, versus the things I SHOULD. Care to join me? HAHAHA. I love you, Katy. Really. And I won't be saying that often, but it's Christmastime :)!

I think that, in honor of my decision to embrace my immature-ness and to not even TRY to be a disciplined grown-up anymore, we should have an IM conversation later on. Are ya game?

Yes, ma'am, rest up those eyes of yours. I'm still at work and, because I didn't get my fat a$$ up and out until 7:00, I'll still be here for a while--I'm thinking another 2 hours or so. As soon as I get home, though, AIM is gettin' fired up, so prepare however you have to. The thought of not talking to you, in all of my no-more-bloggin-ness last evening, seriously spooked me!!! :)

I was gonna e-mail you so as not to hog up your comment page, but I don't have your e-mail address in my work computer address book. And I am too lazy to check any farther. Just wanted to tell you, I'm leaving work in about 10 minutes, I'm stopping at the store for about 5 minutes, then another 10 minutes and I'll be home and firing up the AIM. Prepare for the shock and awe of it all...HEHEHE!

So you probably got ice or snow since this bad rain - did you? You are in Ohio? I know Ohio got a lot of snow. Hope all is well with you and your family - Happy Holidays. Kellan
