I live in the little red box (in Ohio). My husband works in WV, I work in Ohio and my son works in Kentucky. When I need to run to Wal mart, I go to Kentucky. Bigger shopping trip needed?..WV to the mall. Short quick shopping trip? Go the the mall in Kentucky. Want to go out to eat? Seafood..go to WV, steak?..Kentucky. (Don't ask me where I need to go to work on my punctuation, all 3 states have colleges nearby.)
My point is that I live in the middle of 3 of the top 5 saddest states to live in. I could have told them that years ago.

And I'd like to know who the happy Minnesotans are that they talked to for their stupid survey. Yesterday, when it was THREE DEGREES BELOW ZERO, I was not one of the happy Minnesotans. Maybe I should move to your little red box? Does anybody ever actually move TO your little red box? That is one of the things that would make it attractive to me--not so many irritating people! :)
I bet you brighten up the whole red box area. And I mean that sincerely! :)

I don't buy it. If you look smack in the middle of the red box, where the 3 states touch, it looks like a smile to me.
